Rubinson is been a faculty member of the School of Law since 1997. His primary teaching and scholarly interests are in professional ethics, critical theory, and alternative dispute resolution. He is the co-author of Mediating Family Disputes: Theory and Practice, which is now in its 2d edition. His articles have appeared in, among other publications, the Clinical Law Review, the Nevada Law Review, Arizona State Law Journal, and the Journal of the Legal Profession. Rubinson has served as reporter for the Maryland Court of Appeals Ethics 2002 Committee, which proposed changes to the Maryland Rules of Professional Conduct. He has also been chair of the Maryland State Bar Association's Section Council on Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar. He is a member of the New York and Maryland bars.
