As Interim Assistant Dean of Students at the University of Baltimore School of Law, Stephen Cirino supervises the Office of Student Affairs team and leads efforts that support a strong student experience and positive culture and climate across the law school community. In this role, he oversees colleagues who manage advising, student organizations, co-curricular programming, new student orientation, student leadership development, Honor Code processes, accommodations, student compliance, and other key areas that support students throughout their law school journey.
Cirino also collaborates with students, faculty, staff, and university leadership to strengthen belonging, promote student success, uphold institutional policies and procedures, and help create equitable learning environments where students feel valued, connected, and positioned to thrive.
Before joining UBalt Law, Cirino built a career across academia and the music industry. At the University of the Arts, he developed measurable frameworks and initiatives, launched Inclusive Philly to amplify community voices, and partnered with organizations to create meaningful impact, earning recognition from NPR. He was also honored with the President’s Distinguished Teaching Award in 2021 for excellence in education.
Prior to academia, Cirino spent seven years at Sony Music Entertainment/RED Distribution, where he played a role in releasing multiple platinum and gold records. As founder of Future Management, he spearheaded the release of eight Billboard-charting albums and shared music industry insights on platforms such as CNBC, including commentary on the rise of Spotify.
Known for building strong partnerships and focusing on practical solutions, Cirino is passionate about fostering environments where people feel valued and can succeed together. His leadership blends experience, empathy, and a commitment to lasting impact.
