Tackling Chronic Absenteeism Project Participants

The Center for Families, Children, and the Court’s Tackling Chronic Absenteeism Project (TCAP; formerly known as the Truancy Court Program) is a voluntary, non-punitive, holistic, data-driven intervention program that works to identify and address the root causes of truancy for individual children, seeks to improve behavior and student and family attitudes toward school and helps build a foundation for long-term academic success. TCAP offers opportunities for UBalt law students to make a real difference for many families in the Baltimore region while gaining practical experience.
