
In November, the Center participated in the FAMM Second Chances Working Group in Minneapolis,
joining leaders across the ecosystem working to expand meaningful second-chance opportunities,
and the Drug Policy Alliance’s International Reform Conference in Detroit.
On behalf of CCJR, Keith Wallington presented at the 2025 Kaiser Permanente Community Safety Convening,
Beyond the Moment: Pathways to Peace and Recovery, a powerful gathering devoted to elevating the survivor leadership shaping our understanding
of accountability, justice, equity, and prevention.
In December, the Center partnered with B.U.I.L.D, a coalition of over 50 congregations, nonprofits and schools across Baltimore to host an afternoon of community building, resource-sharing and organizing for criminal legal reform in 2026. Read more here.
