The 15th annual Washington Monthly College Rankings are out, and once again the University of Baltimore places at or near the top in several categories. Each year, the magazine rates colleges and universities across the country, with special attention paid to those institutions that serve the best interests of the nation as a whole, including by enrolling and graduating students of modest means and by encouraging students to vote.
For 2019, UB ranks:
- #1 in Maryland for advancing the Social Mobility of our students (#28 nationally);
- #1 in Maryland for students’ earning performance 10 years after entering college (#7 nationally);
- #1 public university in Maryland for Best 4-Year College for Adult Learners (#31 nationally);
- #1 public Master’s University in Maryland (#33 among Top 200 nationally);
- #1 in Maryland for "Best Bang for the Buck in the Northeast" (#18 in the Northeast).
UB also ranked among the nation's Best 80 Colleges for Student Voting.
