Inaugural Online 2021 Maryland Equity and Inclusion Leadership Program Begins

The University of Baltimore's Schaefer Center for Public Policy and the Maryland Commission on Civil Rights have announced the inaugural online Class of 2021 of the Maryland Equity & Inclusion Leadership Program. The class of 38 participants began their course of study on Sept. 6, and will complete the program on Dec. 10.

The Maryland Equity & Inclusion Leadership Program is offered jointly by the Schaefer Center for Public Policy at The University of Baltimore and the Maryland Commission on Civil Rights. This 14-week, non-credit program features live online sessions and self-paced instruction. Self-paced sessions include prerecorded video presentations, reading assignments, and applied learning activities. Live sessions feature presentations by University of Baltimore faculty and guest speakers. The live sessions afford opportunities for dynamic discussions among participants. Program participants conclude the program with an individual capstone project demonstrating their mastery of the program material.
