We are proud to collaborate with our University System of Maryland sister institution,
University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) to offer their students in the Master
of Science in Engineering Management program access to the UBalt MBA program—and provide
our students a way to enhance their degree by taking courses in project management
or engineering management at UMBC.
The University of Baltimore doesn't have and engineering school and the University
of Maryland Baltimore County doesn't have a business school. This collaboration allows
the strengths at each school to benefit their students.
The agreement provides UMBC students in the Masters of Science in Engineering Management
who are interested in career-oriented graduate education in business an opportunity
to enhance their degree by taking business-oriented courses. Similarly, students in
University of Baltimore’s MBA program will be able to enhance their degree by taking
courses in project management or engineering management.
Visit the Flex MBA's website to learn about the program, admission, and the degree
requirements.
In 2024, a memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed allowing students enrolled
in specific programs at each institution to transfer credits towards completing a
degree at the other.
This partnership provides students with a unique opportunity to:
Expand their skillset: Gaining valuable knowledge and experience in both business and engineering or information
technology, making them more competitive in the job market.
Pursue career-focused education: Tailoring their education to their specific career aspirations.
