The Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations (AIOps) at the University of Baltimore prepares students to become technical leaders in AI-driven IT systems. This interdisciplinary program combines hands-on experience with theoretical knowledge, giving students a strong foundation in programming, cloud computing, cybersecurity, machine learning, and human-centered AI design.


Whether you’re entering as a first-time freshman or transferring from a community college in an IT-related field, this program equips you with the skills to integrate and manage AI in real-world IT infrastructures; from smart devices to enterprise-level systems.
In the Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations program, you will:

  • integrate AI technologies into real-world IT infrastructures
  • gain hands-on experience with machine learning, cloud, and edge computing
  • design and implement secure, AI-enabled systems
  • work with smart devices, sensor data, and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies
