The Bob Parsons Veterans Center connects you to the many resources available for military-affiliated and veteran students at The University of Baltimore and offers support and resources in a military-friendly atmosphere.
The Bob Parsons Veterans Center aims to champion the success of veterans and military members at the University of Baltimore by combining the best resources, the most knowledgeable staff, dedicated faculty, and administrators to create a sense of belonging that compels the veteran and military-affiliated student to become an integral part of not only the BPVC, but the university as a whole. We are committed to helping our students succeed by forging partnerships throughout the university and by advocating for the veteran and military-affiliated students. The end goal is to see our veteran and military-affiliated students transition into the university as smoothly as possible, thrive while attending the institution, and flourish in their career upon graduation.

I attended University of Baltimore on the GI Bill® after returning from Vietnam. The discipline that I gained in the military, coupled with the University's commitment to veterans' re-entry into civilian life, enabled me to be successful in my studies and beyond. The Bob Parsons Veterans Center provides the facilities, staff and programs which will allow the University to exponentially increase their reach and make veteran advocacy part of their core mission.
–Bob Parsons, B.S. '75, D.H.L. '08, entrepreneur and philanthropist, founder of GoDaddy and PXG. Parsons helped the University establish The Bob Parsons Veterans Center through The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation.
The Foundation made a gift of $2.4M to UBalt to bolster their commitment to expanding support and services for Veterans and students through The Bob Parsons Veterans Center and The Bob Parsons Veterans Advocacy Clinic.
UBalt is part of the Yellow Ribbon Program, an agreement with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to fund tuition and fee expenses that exceed those payable under the Post-9/11 GI Bill®. UBalt will offer $1,000 to 10 qualified students, and the VA will match those funds.
UBalt's Military Friendly School ranking indicates the University is among the top 10 percent of schools nationwide in delivering an outstanding experience for military students.
As a UBalt student, you can join ROTC as part of our partnership with The Johns Hopkins University. When you graduate you'll be commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Army.
UBalt is among a select group of universities in full compliance with the Veterans Access, Choice and Accountability Act of 2014, which ensures in-state tuition to veterans and their qualified family members.
