Ross is proud of her Pretty Mobile van, the Maryland Department of Motor Vehicles' first mobile makeup studio.
The van includes a dressing room, refreshment station and up to three artistry stations.
The van seats up to nine guests.
Takia schedules clients for weddings, graduations, proms, birthdays, fashion shows and many other special events.

In 2013, Ross launched her business from her home before acquiring studio space.

Her space on Russell Street in Baltimore City houses a makeup studio as well as a location for Ross to coach women who want to turn their skills into a business.

Ross also hosts classes like "How to Achieve a Five Minute Natural Face" in her studio.
