Total Electricity Consumption per Capita
The total amount of electricity consumed in Baltimore per year divided by the population. Lower electricity consumption means less energy use, less resource consumption, and lower air emissions.
Total Gas Consumption per Capita
The total amount of gas consumed in Baltimore per year divided by the population. Lower gas consumption means less energy use, less resource consumption, and lower air emissions.
Ratio of Household Utility Expenditure to Pre Tax Income
The total expenditure on utilities per household divided by the total pre-tax income. The lower the share of expenditure on utilities, the more households have to spend on other necessities.
