Helping Students Dress for Success
You only have one chance to make a great first impression. That's why the Career & Internship Center offers UBalt students coaching and mentoring in areas like resume writing and interview practice.
Now, the Center has gone one step further to help students go from coursework to the work force.
Last spring, the Center launched a pop-up career closet, providing students who lack the resources needed to purchase business attire an easy way to dress for success.
The career closet provides UBalt students with clothing and accessories necessary to project a professional image – at no cost to the student. The closet is a pop-up shop entirely stocked by donations from the UBalt community and our neighbors. In 2018, the closet received 915 clothing donations and served more than 150 students.
Because of popular demand, the Center has endeavored to turn the pop-up career closet into a permanent, year-round resource for students.
