When searching for a graduate program, Janeen Weinch, M.S. '10, wanted an education that would equip her with the practical expertise she needed to launch her career.
When she researched the M.S. in Applied Psychology program at UBalt, she discovered a program that would do just that.
Weinch enrolled in the Applied Psychology program with a concentration in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. The curriculum emphasizes evidence-based practice and course activities that enhance student experiential learning—two things she knew would set her up for success.
"Getting my masters from UBalt has opened many doors for me and truly jump-started my career," she says. "The work experience I was able to pursue because of my UBalt degree was invaluable."
"Soon after graduating I moved to Washington, D.C. to start my career with Deloitte's Federal Human Capital Consulting practice. I stayed in the D.C. metro area for five years before discovering my passion for learning and development."
Weinch shifted to an internal position with Deloitte's Learning and Development Center of Excellence.
"After taking on this new career path, I moved to Tampa, Fla. Now, I am able to work from home and travel to deliver innovative learning programs across the U.S."
