  • Alumni Appreciation Calling Night

    Join a group of alumni, student, faculty and staff volunteers as they make thank you calls to donors to express appreciation their financial support of the University. For more information, contact Kate Crimmins at or 410.837.6135.

  • The Backpack to Briefcase (B2B) program brings UB alumni back into the classroom to share their experiences with students. Alumni provide students with career options and advice specific to their programs of study. For more information, contact Alli Hedden.

  • Commencement Reception

    Welcome new graduates following the commencement ceremony at an on-campus celebratory reception. Help us host and treat the newest alumni, their family and friends to food and beverages compliments of the UBAA. For more information, contact Erica Wienholt. 

  • Community Service Day

    Each year, hundreds of students, faculty, staff and alumni volunteer a day of their time, creating positive change in communities throughout the Greater Baltimore region. Volunteer groups travel to more than a dozen service sites -- beautifying neighborhoods, rehabbing houses, repainting schools, mentoring youth, providing food to those in need, and more.   • Fuel for Finals

    Join the UBAA in helping our students prepare for finals by serving free snacks and beverages during their final exams. For more information, contact Erica Wienholt .

  • Professional Development Institute (PDI)

    PDI is a one-on-one formal mentoring program that helps students reach their full educational and career potential. The program matches students with faculty, staff, and alumni to explore interests and set career goals. The individualized plan helps students earn a competitive advantage by preparing them for the job market early in their education. If you are interested in becoming a PDI mentor, please contact .

  • Savor UB is a program that connects UB students with alumni who have similar professional goals and social interests. The program offers a unique opportunity to share great conversation and build valuable connections over a meal at local Baltimore restaurants. For more information, contact Erica Wienholt.

  • Social Media Ambassadors

    Lend your voice and perspective by sharing news, events and programming to your social network. And, join us as we celebrate #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back.

  • Speed Networking Event

    Help UB students polish their professional skills and share your own tips for making a good first impression in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Spring Block Party
