80th Anniversary of the College of Arts and Sciences!
The College of Arts and Sciences began in 1937 as a junior college, introducing a practical blending of general and specialized education to the University of Baltimore's existing business and law school offerings. Over the next 80 years, the college would grow and evolve into what is known today as the Yale Gordon College of Arts and Sciences, named in 1982 for Yale Gordon, J.D. ’29, B.B.A. ’33, a law and business graduate who was committed to the importance of liberal arts education for professionals.
In the year ahead, please join us for a variety of events celebrating the college's 80th year. We'll be kicking things off on Wednesday, April 19. Check out what we've got in store...
