Basic Needs Resource Center

The focus of the Basic Needs Virtual Resource Center is to provide every student with real support as they pursue their educational goals. On this page, you will find links to various supports both here at the University of Baltimore and within the local community.

Campus Safety and Security

Your safety is our top priority. Our security ambassadors and UMB police officers can be easily found at security desks inside UBalt buildings, patrolling our campus, and by calling UBalt Campus Safety and Security.

Disability & Access Services

Disability and Access Services provides reasonable accommodations for students with documented disabilities and works to ensure access to all campus facilities and programs.

Student Assistance Program

The Student Assistance Program (SAP) provides you with free, confidential, in-the-moment support to manage life's challenges while in college. Services are available 24-hours a day, 7-days a week.  

UBalt Gym

The gym is now open to all students, staff and faculty from 5pm-9pm, Monday through Thursdays. The gym is located on the 3rd floor of the Academic Center an you will need your Bee Card to enter.

Note: They gym will be closed during spring break and during the summer.
