Health and Wellness

Health and Wellness services aim to provide educational information, community referral, and life skills to promote and foster health and well-being in the lives of UBalt students.

Health Insurance

UBalt does not require students to have health insurance. However, it is strongly recommended that students have insurance to help them cover any medical costs, including unforeseen illness and emergencies. Review health insurance information to learn more about how healthcare can be accessed.

BASIC NEEDS VIRTUAL RESOURCE CENTER

The focus of the Basic Needs Virtual Resource Center is to provide every student with real support as they pursue their educational goals. On this page, you will find links to various supports both here at the University of Baltimore and within the local community.

Campus Safety and Security

Your safety is our top priority. Our security ambassadors and UMB police officers can be easily found at security desks inside UBalt buildings, patrolling our campus, and by calling UBalt Campus Safety and Security.

COVID-19 Response

The University of Baltimore continues to meet the many challenges of COVID-19 and other public-health situations with one principle in mind: In order to deliver and receive a quality education, above all else our community must be healthy and safe.

Disability & Access Services

Disability and Access Services provides reasonable accommodations for students with documented disabilities and works to ensure access to all campus facilities and programs.

Student Assistance Program

The Student Assistance Program (SAP) provides you with free, confidential, in-the-moment support to manage life's challenges while in college. Services are available 24-hours a day, 7-days a week.
