Inside the Student Center

A space formerly used as a bookstore has been transformed into a game room with pool tables, foosball, an air hockey table, board games, TVs and gaming consoles. Fitting of a place for Bees hanging out, the room will keep the name The Hive.

The five-story, 38,000-square-foot Student Center includes a panoramic theater, lounges, study areas, the Game Room, Art Gallery, Interfaith Room, student organization offices, and key support resources such as Center for Student Engagement and Inclusion(CSEI), the Campus Pantry, Career and Internship Center (CIC), Bee Card Office, and the Bob Parsons Veterans Center.
I love it because it hosts a vibrant space on campus where everyone can see what UBalt has to offer.

The Student Center aims to provide a place where students can gather to study, socialize and to take advantage of university student services. In addition, it is a place where the whole University community (faculty, staff, alumni and guests) can gather to develop the educational process beyond the classroom.

Our vision for the Student Center is to help students become involved and engaged by providing an opportunity for personal and academic development through innovative services and programs.

The information desk, located in the lobby, provides our community and its visitors with information about the University, ongoing events and directions around campus.
