The Overdose Detection Mapping Application Program (ODMAP) was developed by the Washington/Baltimore High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (W/B HIDTA) program. ODMAP, designed to link public health and public safety through real-time overdose data, is a surveillance system offering analytical tools and capabilities designed to give local government officials the necessary information for resource optimization to address the overdose epidemic at the local level.
This position will be responsible for developing and implementing an outreach program to expand the number of agencies utilizing ODMAP. Additionally, this position will be responsible for providing limited technical assistance to existing agencies in their ODMAP programs. This will include coordinating with reaching out to and onboarding new ODMAP agencies, assisting current agencies with ODMAP administrative efforts, leading ODMAP social media efforts on Twitter and Facebook, and providing assistance to ODMAP agencies as they integrate ODMAP into their efforts.
This position will report to the ODMAP Program Manager and will be responsible for providing regular project updates to the ODMAP Program Manager, W/B HIDTA Deputy Director, and W/B HIDTA executive staff.

Key Responsibilities:
* Designing and implementing a national outreach program. Conduct outreach efforts, which includes but is not limited to: reaching out to new potential ODMAP agencies, onboarding new agencies, conducting ODMAP trainings, both in-person and virtually, and other outreach duties as assigned.
*Provide existing agencies with ODMAP-related implementation support in their programs, focusing on turning ODMAP data into actionable efforts.
*ODMAP marketing and social media efforts across platforms, including new deliverable development. Other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor's degree required.
Experience: Two years’ experience conducting outreach and/or managing a wide variety of projects across multiple disciplines required. National Policy experience preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
The individual in this position must be able to communicate effectively with a diverse national user group as well as effectively manage evolving projects and implementation. Knowledge, skills, and abilities required but not limited to:
The ability to effectively communicate with a diverse user community of Law Enforcement, Fire/EMS, Public & Behavioral Health, Medical Examiners and Coroners, etc., Knowledge and familiarity with software programs, Excellent technical writing and communication skills, Due to the nature of the work, must be able to obtain a Secret level government clearance, Ability to appropriately apply and create W/B HIDTA Directives, as well as interpret and employ the Directives of the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP).
This individual must also be able successfully manage a social media campaign across multiple platforms.
Limited travel nationally as needed to support state and local implementation efforts.
