UBalt is excited to introduce and try out a new synchronous course modality, called Bee-Flex, in which in-person and remote students attend class together at the same time. The following addresses logistical components about Bee-Flex to make sure that you are equipped to succeed in your Bee-Flex course.
What is Bee-Flex?
Bee-Flex courses are synchronous courses that in-person and remote students attend together at the same time. When you register for a Bee-Flex course you can choose to attend class in-person or via Zoom for the semester. The instructor will be in-person.

No. When you register, you will decide to attend your Bee-Flex class in-person or remotely, and this will be how you will participate in the course. For example, if you register to attend your Bee-Flex class in-person, you will attend in-person for the whole semester.
Choosing the on-campus section will allow your Bee-Flex course to be an in-person course, satisfying some of these status requirements. Please reach out if you have any questions about your status requirements.
