Re-introducing ABI/INFORM GLOBAL—A comprehensive business database offering the latest business and financial information for researchers at all levels. If you’re a student at the Merrick School of Business (as shown above), you may have already used this straightforward database on the reliable ProQuest Platform. If you haven’t, it’s worth exploring.
ABI/INFORM GLOBAL contains the full text of thousands of journals, including essential scholarly journals and the most important trade journals. Researchers increasingly require a wider range of sources beyond scholarly journals, and ABI/INFORM GLOBAL delivers this through extensive access to dissertations, working papers, reports, news sources, and more.
The University of Baltimore Library & Archives is a longtime subscriber to the easy-to-use ABI/INFORM GLOBAL. It’s a great place to search full-text periodicals like the Economist, Barron’s, and the Wall Street Journal to start your research and narrow your topic.
Go to the Library website and click on Databases List.

If you are off campus, you will be required to log in with your UBALT credentials.
The link opens right up to ADVANCED SEARCH.

EXAMPLE using “ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE” and ENVIRONMENT:

Be sure to limit your results by FULL TEXT (if you want) and narrow down your results by Source and Document Type and Language, in this case: Scholarly Journal Articles in English. Look at ALL these results.

ABI/inform Global is an outstanding resource for business research.
