2026 marks the 10th anniversary of the University of Baltimore's RED Talks, or Research Engagement Day. RED Talks are short presentations from faculty, graduate students, and staff from across the University of Baltimore. It is a great opportunity to engage with the different types of scholarly activities that happen in all four of the university's schools.
When the campus was closed due to COVID, we transitioned the RED Talks to a more online
compatible format by having presenters prerecord their presentations. This year, we
are returning to live presentations. Most of the presenters will be on campus, but
others will be over Zoom. One RED Talk will be coming to us live from someone also
presenting at the SxSW EDU conference. In addition, we are pleased to include presentations
from several CELTT teaching scholars in residence discussing their scholarship of
teaching and learning.
The event will be held on March 12 from 2-5pm, both in person and online, but don't
feel you need to stay for the full three hours. Since each talk is about 5 minutes
long, attendees are free to stay for as many of the presentations as they can.
