Zachary Baker-Salmon, a student in The University of Baltimore's M.S. in Industrial and Organizational (I/O) Psychology program, will participate in the International Congress of Applied Psychology (ICAP) conference taking place July 21-25 in Florence, Italy. He will lead a session titled "Applied Psychology for Public Sector Workers: Lessons from Global Government" at the conference, which will be attended by psychology researchers and practitioners working in governments from the United States, Switzerland, the Philippines, and Guam.
Baker-Salmon's trip is supported by both the UBalt Research Council and Psi Chi, the international honor society for psychology based in Chattanooga, Tenn. He will produce a report covering the major activities and outcomes of the conference for Psi Chi.
The International Association of Applied Psychology organizes ICAP as "a world congress of applied psychology which serves as a review of advances in applied psychology and unites several thousand psychologists from all over the world."
