This distinction affirms our steadfast commitment to our veteran and military-affiliated students, honoring their service by ensuring they receive the support, opportunities, and community they deserve.

The University of Baltimore's service to military veterans and current-serving members of the military, led by The Bob Parsons Veterans Center, has been ranked in the top third nationally and #2 in Maryland in the latest "Best for Vets" survey by The Military Times. The 2025 "Best for Vets" rankings for colleges and universities compiles institutional data regarding veterans, to comprehensively assess the effectiveness of an institution's support of those who have served.
The ranking "is the largest and most comprehensive ranking of the best schools for military service members and veterans," according to The Military Times's website. "The ranking looks at services available to veterans and practical information that will help veterans make important decisions about their career planning and how to use the education benefits they earned through military service."
"I am proud that The University of Baltimore has been recognized in the 2025 Military Times 'Best for Vets' rankings," said Josiah Guthland, director of The Bob Parsons Veteran Center. "This distinction affirms our steadfast
commitment to our veteran and military-affiliated students, honoring their service
by ensuring they receive the support, opportunities, and community they deserve. This
distinction would not be possible without the support of The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation
and our institutional leadership."
