You’ll find plenty of career development opportunities while you’re at UBalt, whether it’s a graduate fellowship with our Center for Drug Policy and Enforcement or William Donald Schaefer Center for Public Policy, build a better Baltimore through the Community Development Fellowship Program, or unearth actionable data and analyses with the Jacob France Institute.

With flexible course options, you can earn your degree on your schedule. Take classes in the evening, on the weekend, online, part time or full time. Not close to Baltimore? UBalt also offers several programs at the Universities at Shady Grove in Rockville, Maryland.

Plus, UBalt’s Career and Internship Center is ready to help you build or revise your resume, find a job or internship and more from your first class to graduation day.

The minimum graduate admission requirements are a bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalent from an accredited institution; a satisfactory scholastic average, usually a minimum grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 (B) on a 4.0 scale and a personal statement.

Admission requirements vary depending on the program. For details, consult the
specific requirements for the program in which you are interested.

UBalt is committed to helping you afford your education. We automatically consider new graduate students for merit scholarships, and students in Washington, D.C., Delaware and many counties in Virginia and Pennsylvania are eligible to pay regional in-state tuition rates. Graduate assistantships can also help fund all or part of your tuition, while you gain professional and academic research experience.
