Want to meet on the weekend or when the library is closed?
Send an email to reference@ubalt.edu and we'll do our best to try to accomodate all requests.
How can librarians help you? Our librarians can work with any UBalt student, staff, faculty or alumni to find and
use information effectively at any point in the research process through:
Brainstorming and refining activities that can help narrow a big topic into a manageable
idea
Locating sources of information that provide overviews of a topic or identify key
questions that are appropriate in scope for your work.
Developing alternative search strategies for finding new or complementary sources
of information to deepen your research
Applying tools and techniques to help you vet any source of information for truthfulness
and trustworthiness
Storing and managing data, sources, or citations with Zotero or other tools
Exploring avenues for publishing your research, including in our institutional repository
KnowledgeWorks
