Bio
Amir Pezeshkan, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Management in the Merrick School of Business at the University of Baltimore. Dr. Pezeshkan teaches courses in international business, international management, and strategic management, bringing a global perspective and strategic focus to his classroom.
His research explores a range of macro and strategic topics, including institutional and strategic entrepreneurship, organizational capabilities, and venture capital firms. Dr. Pezeshkan�s work has been published in prominent academic outlets such as the Journal of Management Studies, Journal of World Business, Asia Pacific Journal of Management, and Journal of Business Research, and has been presented at various international conferences.
Before joining the Merrick School of Business, Dr. Pezeshkan earned his Ph.D. in Strategic Management from Old Dominion University, where he also taught courses in international business and strategic management. Prior to his academic career, he co-founded and co-managed a startup in the management consulting field, which equipped him with practical insights and entrepreneurial experience that informed both his teaching and research. -
