Stand out in your pharmacy or health care career with the managerial and entrepreneurial skills you can learn in the University of Baltimore MBA program.

In conjunction with the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, the MBA/Pharm.D. program provides you with management skills and teaches you how to develop entrepreneurial capabilities for a pharmacy career in a diverse range of health-care areas. Enrollment in the dual-degree program allows for the transfer of seven pharmacy courses toward the MBA.

MBA Program Requirements

The 36-48 credit UBalt MBA program has maximized contemporary business themes and integrated them in a more holistically way, reducing the silo effect often found in other MBA programs.

Admission

Application Deadlines

Fall Sessions: Aug. 15 / Oct. 15; Spring Sessions: Jan. 15 / Mar. 15; Summer Sessions: May 15.

Pharm.D. students must have completed a bachelor’s degree or four years of college to be eligible for admission to the MBA program. Applicants must file an application with the University of Baltimore and request that the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy’s Office of Student Affairs send copies of their pre-pharmacy transcripts to UBalt. If the applicant has not taken the GMAT, the PCAT will be substituted.

ADVISING

The MBA adviser prepares a program plan of study that lists the courses required to meet the MBA degree requirements. The School of Pharmacy also counsel students, particularly with regard to blending the degree requirements.

Tuition is $882 per credit in-state and for regional residents, $1,232 out-of-state per credit for out-of-state residents. Additional fees will be applied. Learn more about tuition and fees.
