Events Hosted by the Merrick School of Business
The Merrick School of Business hosts various events throughout the year. Our signature event is the Speaker Series. It debuted in April 2009 with a speech by Muhammad Yunus, Nobel Peace Prize winner and founder of the Grameen Bank. In addition to the Speaker Series, we host events geared toward our alumni.
There is no better way to learn than from the masters in our fields; and this is the underlying motivation of the ‘ Lessons from Legends ’ series at the Merrick School of Business. Great conversations with great Baltimore leaders.
When Dean Murray Dalziel arrived on campus in 2014, he wanted to build a series that brought accomplished business professionals to campus and have a conversation with them, "Oprah-style." In the spring of 2015 we launched the Merrick Engages series focused on a conversation to help guide students on their career (and life) path.
Career Tracks is a program for students to learn more about career paths they may not have considered or ones they may want to learn more about.
