Bee Card FAQs

 
The Bee Card is UBalt's official campus card for all of your daily needs: parking, library access, campus ID, door access and more.

Click here for instructions to obtain your Bee Card by mail. Photo submission instructions are provided.


If you're a new student, you must be fully registered before you can obtain a Bee Card.


If you're a new faculty or staff member, you must be processed by Human Resources before you can obtain a Bee Card.

No, there is no charge for your initial Bee Card. However, there is a $20 charge for replacement cards.

A replacement card can be issued by mail. Click here for instructions. There is a $20 replacement charge for each card replaced, which will be placed on your student account. 

Stolen cards will be replaced at no cost if a copy of a police report is provided at the time of replacement.
(You may choose to have a new picture taken at the time of replacement.)

There are two ways to park:
1. Choose a prepaid parking plan via the parking website and use your Bee Card to enter and exit. The parking fee will be deducted from your account, and you may load additonal funds as needed.

If you have a prepaid UBalt parking plan, just tap your Bee Card against the card reader at the entrance and exit gates to the parking facilities.
If you have purchased a prepaid parking plan and your card is not allowing you entry or exit into your selected garage, please contact the parking office by email or by calling 410-837-6573.
