"Breaking the Oligarchs' Grip: The Athens Dialogues," a conference organized by The Center for the Study of Oligarchs, the Municipality of Athens, and the Andreas Papandreou Foundation, will take place Oct. 10 and 11 in an online setting originating from the host site located in Greece. Organized by David Lingelbach, professor of Entrepreneurship in The University of Baltimore's Merrick School of Business and co-author of The Oligarch's Grip, this gathering will bring together academics, intellectuals, politicians, journalists, diplomats, business leaders and activists to discuss the phenomenon of oligarchs and to actively explore innovative strategies to contain their growing wealth and power.
