Title IX Student and Employee Training Information

 
It is a required tutorial for all incoming University of Baltimore students. The tutorial covers a range of topics around sexual assault prevention and resources available to students at The University of Baltimore.  Please note that this tutorial was formerly known as Sexual Assalt Preventin for Adult Learners and may still appear as such until December 2026.

For this reason, the UBaltrequired training course ensures that each incoming student receives the same important and relevant information about sexual harassment prevention and other misconduct prior to joining the UBalt community. By completing the training, you are supporting our goal to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.

For general support you can visit Vector Solutions Support, a website devoted to troubleshooting that contains a lot of information as well as the minimum system requirements to run their courses. This website is updated regularly.

Our compliance training is designed to help every employee develop a baseline knowledge of their compliance responsibilities and reinforce shared set of values and expectations. We are committed to educating employees on laws, regulations, and policies to maintain institutional integrity.

All employees are required to complete Title VII and Title IX training within their first 60 days of employment: 

  • Title VII - an in-person learning session where employees will increase their awareness of workplace discrimination and harassment; understand the procedures to adjudicate complaints; learn how to properly report a problematic behavior; and explore techniques for identifying and preventing discrimination and harassment. 
  • Title IX - an online course designed to address issues of sexual harassment, misconduct, and violence. Additionally, employees will examine their role and responsibilities; understand the proper steps for reporting an incident; and explore request for confidentiality. New employees are assigned the course and will be notified via email when the course is ready to take.
