What Do Students Say About the Legal Writing Center?

 

Since its beginnings in 2015, the University of Baltimore School of Law's Legal Writing Center has helped a great number of students improve their writing skills and become more productive, better attuned members of our law student community.

In Fall 2018, the center had a record 178 appointments. Clearly, demand for this resource is on the rise—in fact, we opened a bit earlier this year than in past years to meet the need.

Most of our students met with their Legal Writing Fellow peers on Mondays and Wednesdays. But as a testament to the Fellows' dedication, there were many appointments on Saturdays and Sundays, too.

UBalt law students are asked to fill out a short survey after their appointments; here are some sample comments:
