- Press the Expand key.
- With Express Directory highlighted, press the Select soft key.
- Use the Navigation keys to scroll through or use the key pad to search the directory. To use the key pad, press the numbers that correspond to the letters in the person's name. As you continue spelling, the matching names begin to narrow. You can spell either the first or the last name.
- With the name selected, press the View soft key.
- To dial the number, press the Call soft key.

Transfer Calls
- With caller on the line, press Trans soft key.
- Dial the extension to which you'll transfer the call.
- Press the Trans soft key.
Note: If you need to cancel the transfer, press the line key of the original call.

If you received someone's voice mail when you were about to transfer a call, you can retrieve the call by:
- Pressing 8 3.
- Press the line key next to the call.

Press your line key (where your extension is displayed) twice. Or, to access another number from a recent incoming or outgoing call:
- Press the Redial soft key.
- Use the up/down navigation keys to scroll through the list of available numbers. If you need more information about an entry, highlight it and press the right navigation key.
- When you find the number you want to call, press the Dial soft key.

Use Autodial to store frequently called numbers for faster access. Some phones may not have the Autodial option.
- On the display screen, press a button labeled Autodial.
- Enter the number you want to store. If storing an off campus number, first enter a 9 then enter the phone number.
- When done, press the blinking Autodial button. The display name will change from Autodial to the number you entered.
When you want to dial that number, press the programmed button.

- From your phone, press the Forward soft key.
- Enter the extension to where your calls should forward.
- Press the Forward soft key.
To cancel the forwarding, press the Forward soft key on your phone. A message will display confirming that forwarding was cancelled.
