Inspired Discoveries is where UBalt undergraduates shine. For the past ten years, Inspired Discoveries has been the premier UBalt event for student research and creative work, featuring short presentations showcasing the amazing work being done by our best and brightest students. There’s a cash prize for the best presentation, awarded by a panel of UBalt faculty and staff judges, along with some additional prizes. This year's event will take place on Friday, May 1st, beginning at 10AM in room 412 in the RLB library, as well as online through Zoom. In this hybrid format prerecorded talks will be presented before lunch with live talks afterwards.
Our faculty speaker for Inspired Discoveries 2026 will be Dr. Alan Lyles, Henry A. Rosenberg Professor of Government, Business, and Nonprofit Partnerships in the College of Public Affairs and a senior fellow in the National Academy of Public Administration.
