on-campus interviews
On-campus interviews are a pipeline for qualified student candidates to connect to employers who are offering internships and full-time positions.
The program is managed through UBworks, our online job and internship search database. Interviews are offered each semester in the Career and Internship Center. Students must submit their resumes in advance and be selected by the employer for an interview.

How do I view and apply to positions?
- Log in to UBworks through MyUB.
- Under “Land an Interview” on the UBworks homepage, click on “On Campus Interviews I Qualify for.”
- Available jobs will come up in a list. Click job title for position details.
- Click “Apply” to submit your resume; make sure you look at the job details to see what other documents you may need to submit.
- If selected for an interview, UBworks will send you an email.
- Once you receive the email that you have been invited for an interview, log in to UBworks. On the homepage, you will see “You may sign up for 1 interview.” Click on the invitation and sign up for an interview time.
Please be aware of the interview sign-up date (deadline dates are listed in the upper right on the job posting page). Once you have been invited to interview, you can only select an interview during the sign-up start and end date.

How do I upload my documents (resume, cover letter, transcript, etc.)?
- Complete your profile information in UBworks.
- Navigate to the “Documents” tab (in the blue bar).
- Select “Add New” (bottom left of the screen).
- Complete the "Label" text box (ex: Design Resume).
- Once you upload your resume, click “Submit.”

What should I know about deadlines and scheduling?
- Deadlines to submit resumes are at least two weeks before the interview date.
- Deadlines and dates for each job are listed in the job posting.
- The interview schedule opens for sign-ups only after the employer selection deadline has passed.
- You can only sign up for interviews if you are invited.

How do I cancel an interview?
If you no longer desire to interview with the company, decline the interview in UBworks so other students may have an opportunity to interview for the position.
You must cancel at least 24 hours prior to the interview, and your cancellation must be indicated in the UBworks system. Two cancellations will result in losing the privilege to participate in on-campus interviews.
