How much do student parking plans cost?
Note: Each plan is valid for only one semester.

2. Option 2:10 parks for $42

How do I purchase a parking plan?
To purchase a parking plan as a student, log in to your MYUB portal. On the right hand side, under the tools section, click the parking icon. That link may send you to another page requiring you to click on a "UBalt Single Sign On" button, otherwise you will be taken directly to the portal if you are already logged in to your UBalt account.
1.Click the purchase permit or buy permit links.
2.Select a fixed date term or plan that most suits your needs.
3.Add a vehicle (multiple can be put in the system).
4.Select payment method
5.Review and agree to rules and regulations
6.Click Submit to be taken to the payment screen. If a student account payment method is selected, there is no payment screen.
7.When entering payment information on the payment screen, it is suggested that you only enter your name, credit card information, and email..

Can I purchase multiple parking plans for one semester?
Yes. A student can purchase multiple plans to equal their expected attendance. Only one unlimited plan can be purchased during a semester.

How much does it cost to park during weekends?
Parking plans are active during weekends if you have a plan. A $5 rate is available by showing your Bee Card to the parking attendant, but they must be present. If you'd like to call and confirm the booth's weekend schedule, you can reach the booth at 410-962-1519. Otherwise, hourly rates apply on weekends with a maximum of $12 per day/park.

Why can't I see the "Student Account" payment option?
The Student Account payment option is tied to the add/drop dates of each semester of the school you are attending. The fall Student Account window is opened in May and will close on the last day of fall add/drop. The spring window opens in November and will close the last day of spring add/drop. If you are within the timeframe when the window should be open and do not see the option, please contact the parking office at 410.837.6573.

Parking plans can be purchased online with the "Student Account" payment method. This method will add the charge to your tuition approximately 7 business days after you make a purchase. Verify with the financial aid office that parking charges are covered prior to making a purchase for grants, aid, scholarship, and military benefits.

If I have some parks left on my account from a previous semester. Can I still use these parks?
No, all unused parks expire at the end of that semester. For example, fall plans expire Dec. 31, spring plans expire June 1, and summer plans expire Aug. 1. Plans do not roll over to a new semester.

What if I forget my Bee Card?
- If you have a current parking plan, pull a ticket at the gate and proceed to park your vehicle. Present a copy of your parking plan receipt and the ticket you pulled to the attendant at the cashier's booth. The cashier will validate the ticket after verifying the active plan.
- Unfortunately, If you do not have a current parking plan you will be unable to receive the discounted $5 rate at the parking garage. A Bee Card is required to receive the $5 rate.

What happens if I lose my Bee Card?
When parking, pull a ticket at the gate and proceed to park your vehicle. Contact the UBalt Parking and Campus Card Office to check the lost and found at 410.837.6573. If the lost Bee Card is retrieved from the office, or a replacement Bee Card is created, notify the staff present that your vehicle is parked in the garage. They will verify that you have an active plan and sign the ticket you pulled when entering the garage. On the way back to your vehicle please present the signed ticket and plan receipt to the cashier at the booth to receive a validated parking ticket. -
Do I need to take my Bee Card with me when I leave the parking facility?
Yes. Without your Bee Card, you will not be able to access the garage after they close. Your Bee Card provides access to the Fitzgerald Garage pedestrian entrance near the drive-in entrance, even after normal operating hours.

I understand that if I decide not to buy a semester parking plan that I may pay a flat $5 per park. What is the procedure to park?
When entering, pull a ticket and proceed to park your vehicle. When returning to your vehicle, show your Bee Card to the cashier in the booth to receive the $5 rate. You can pay in cash, credit or debit card. If there is not a cashier at the booth, you will be unable to receive the discounted rate. Note: The $5 rate is a timed validation, it can only be done 15 minutes before exiting the garage.

I need to enter or exit the garage after it has closed. How can I do that?
The garage is accessible seven days a week, 24 hours a day. To access the garage with your Bee Card after it is closed you will need to have an active parking plan. Otherwise, you will need to pull a ticket to enter.

I pulled a ticket when I entered the garage but I lost it. What will I pay?
A lost ticket requires payment of the maximum daily rate of $12. The discounted $5 rate cannot be applied without possession of the ticket.

What if I leave my car overnight and do not have an unlimited plan?
Vehicles may be parked in the garage overnight. All vehicles should be moved within 72 hours or it may be considered abandoned. Additional charges or parks are applied for each day that the car remains parked (a new day begins at 12:01 a.m.).

What if I have a rental car or second vehicle?
Multiple vehicles can be entered in the system if desired. Parking access is tied to the Bee Card holder, not a specific vehicle.
