At the University of Baltimore, staff members are valued and their contributions are essential to the University's mission and its impact on students' lives.
On Thursday, July 28, the University of Baltimore hosted its inaugural Staff Development and Career Conference.
Last year, the Staff Senate partnered with the Office of Human Resources and was awarded a Fund for Excellence grant for a staff development conference. The UB Foundation provided generous funding to make the conference a reality. Furthering Goal 6 of UB's Strategic Plan, the conference contributes to making UB a preferred workplace and destination of choice by creating a work culture that actively supports participation in learning activities and the application of new knowledge and skills on the job. More importantly, a committed, engaged workforce ultimately better serves our student population and their success.
