International Student Admission: How to Apply 

  • Undergraduate Admission: International

    • Completed application and application fee.  If you cannot complete the application online, please download an application (117k pdf) to mail to the University of Baltimore Office of Admissions
    • The Supplemental International Applicant Information Sheet must be completed if you have or will apply for a nonimmigrant status in the United States
    • Non-Immigrant Verification Form for applicants on all other non-immigrant visas
    • Dependent Form to be completed by all F/J applicants who will have a dependent spouse and/or child(ren) accompanying them in the US.
    • If you are currently in the United States, you must submit copies of your passport bio-data and U.S. visa pages, Form I-94 white card, and front and back of all I-20 forms issued to you.
    • All official academic transcripts (secondary/high school and higher).
    • Course-by-course evaluation report of all education received at non-U.S. institutions.
    • Official SAT or ACT score report sent from the testing service to the University of Baltimore Admissions Office. The SAT institutional/school code for UB is 5810; the ACT code is 1744.
    • English language proficiency/ TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based), 213 (computer-based) or 79 (internet-based) is required of all non-native English speakers who have completed less than three years of study at a U.S. high school.
    • Admissions essay. Please provide an essay or personal statement of 250-500 words on a separate piece of paper describing one of the following: the major program that interests you at UB and why; what about UB makes you believe it is the school for you; a significant experience and its impact on you; or another topic of your choice.
    • Estimate of Annual Expenses (F-1 students only). Your sponsor must submit two documents: a signed letter and a current bank statement. The letter must guarantee that 100% of your tuition and living expenses will be provided throughout your study program at UB, generally four years. The bank statement must show that funds are available to cover your first year expenses in full. Review the Estimate of Annual Expenses for international students with your sponsor.
    • Optional: Students may submit a resume, list of extracurricular activities, and/or letters of recommendation.
  • Transfer Admission: International

    • evaluation report of all education received at non-U.S. regionally accredited institutions.
