How do I add a contact?
Enter the name, email address, or phone number of the person you would like to add as a contact in the Find someone search field on the Skype main window. When the name appears, right click and choose Add to contacts list. Click Other Contacts. You should now see the person in your contacts list.

How do I create a new contact group?
Sort your contact list by Groups. Right-click any group name (for example, Other Contacts). Select Create New Group from the menu and give the group a name.

How do I send an instant message?
There is more than one way to send an instant message in Skype:
- Double-click the contact.
- OR Right-click the contact and click Send an IM.
- OR Hover over the contact's picture/image, and click the IM icon on the menu.

How do I check my audio device settings?
Skype automatically detects the audio devices attached to your computer. If Skype cannot find an audio device, contact the OTS Call Center for assistance.
- Click Options.
- Click Audio Device.
- Choose the audio device you prefer from Select the device you want to use for audio calls.
- Use the sliders to adjust speakers, microphone, and ringer.
- Click the green playback buttons to test sound levels.
- Click OK.
- Click Options.

How do I check my video device settings?
Skype automatically detects the camera on your computer. You may already have a camera installed or you can attach one such as a Webcam. If Skype does not detect a camera, contact the OTS Call Center for assistance.
- Click Options.
- Click Video Device.
- Click Camera Settings to make adjustments if necessary
- Click OK.
- Click Options.

How do I schedule a meeting in Skype?
- Open your calendar in Outlook.
- Click New Skype Meeting from the Home tab.
- In the To field, type the email address or contact group name for all invitees. If there is more than one invitee or contact, separate each with a semicolon.
- In the Subject field, type the name for the meeting.
- Select a start and end time.
- Type the meeting agenda in the open text area.
- Click Send.

How do I join a meeting in Skype?
- Click the Meetings icon in Skype.
- Right-click the desired meeting and click Join,
- Choose your audio connection from the Join Meeting Audio window.
- Click OK.
- Click the Meetings icon in Skype.

What if I don't see the Skype Meeting option from the calendar Home tab?
- From the File tab, click Options and then click Add-Ins.
- From the Manage menu, select COM Add-Ins, and click Go.
- Select the Skype meeting Add-In for Microsoft Office 2013 check box, click OK.
